The diary of a young girl PDF is also known as the diary of Anne Frank. This book is in the Dutch language. The writer wrote it during Nazi occupation of Netherlands. She wrote this book while she was hiding with her family due to Nazi Occupation. This diary was published in more than 60 languages. This diary was published in 1947 and received a lot of appreciation worldwide. It was adapted for theatre play show in 1955. It is also adapted for the movie in 1959.  The book was included in the list of best books of the 20th century. On 1st January 2016, the Dutch version copyright was expired according to authors rules in Netherlands.

But according to her house, she chose it one day before while she was browsing some store. Anne sister receives the summons on 5 July 1942 by Nazi work camp. Due to that, they keep hidden with their mother and father. Anne was died at age of 15 due to typhus. The diary was originally written in three volumes. The first volume covers the duration between June 14 and December 5, 1942.

The 2nd volume begins on December 22, 1943, and it ended on April 17, 1944. The third from April 17 to August 1, 1944, which Anne wrote for the last time before her arrest. Anne used the word Kitty for her diary. In 2011 and 2013 it was banned due to having a lot of sexual content which was reported by some of the mothers. So they removed some pages including such content.

Anne expresses her desire in the rewritten introduction of her diary for that one person whom she could call her sincere and truest friend, a person to whom she could share her feelings and deepest thoughts. She observes that she had many “friends” and many admirers, but they are not true or a dear friend with whom she could share her feelings and innermost thoughts. She initially thought her girlfriend Jacque van would be this person, but that was not right.

In starting passage, she says that she is not in love with Helmut “Hello” Silberberg, who was her suitor at that time, but she considered that he might become a true friend of her. She invested much time and effort in very close relations with Peter van Pels, thinking that he might turn into that one honest and true friend, but this actually leads her to a disappointment in some ways, though she cared about Peter a lot. But Ultimately, Anne only friend was kitty her diary where she can share all her deepest and innermost thoughts by writing on her diary, for it was only Kitty that she trusted most and shared her thoughts.

In her diary, Anne wrote about the very closest relationship with her father, but on other hand lack of daughterly love for her mother with whom she feels that they both have different nature and have nothing common, she also wrote about her sister whom she admires a lot, because of her intelligence and sweet nature. Anne did not like interacting with many people she was not that friendly. Auguste van Pels and Fritz Peffer who latterly shared room with Anne. Initially, She was at first not impressed by the quiet Peter; she herself was not liked by them she was something assumed as a chatterbox and thought to be a source of irritation to some of the others. As time flies on, however, she and Peter became very close, though she remained confused and uncertain that in what direction their relationship would be developed.
